Barbara A. Damiano, 83, Bellwood passed away Thursday 01/25/2024, at home. Born 04/17/1940, Altoona, daughter of the late Cora (Williamson) Greene and Ira McGeary. She married Ronald B. Damiano in 1958, he preceded her in death in 2000 after42 years of marriage. Survived by her daughters, Brenda Damiano, Philadelphia: and Bonnie (David) Hennaman, Duncansville; son, William (Grace) Damiano, Bellwood; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother. William Green, Bellwood; sister, Carolyn Davis, WV; and daughter-in-law, Dee Bickel. Preceded in death by son, Joseph Damiano; sisters, Darlene O'Quinn, Bonnie Karlson, Madeline White, and Janet Miner; and brothers, Marlin Greene, Charles Shade, Larry Greene and David Greene. Barb worked as a nurses aide. She enjoyed her pets and reality television shows. Friends and family will be received Sunday, 01/28/2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Good's Funeral Parlor, 328 5th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held Monday, 01/29/2024 at 11 a.m., Pastor Timothy Bartholomew, officiant. Private interment Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford County Humane Society, 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA 15522.
